Spice Secure is a service that safegaurds your mobile phone's Address Book, SMS, Photos, Videos, Ringtones and Wallpapers because you never know when your phone will be damaged, stolen or lost. Spice Secure copies your data to a secure web site and lets you restore them when you replace or upgrade your mobile phone.
You can now back up your phone book, SMS, ringtones, pictures, videos, wallpapers and games using Spice Secure. Your data will be stored securely in your own personal server space, and can be easily viewed online or restored
to a new phone anytime. |

Type SPHONE (Symbian)/ JPHONE (Java) or SUB SSECURE (in case you don't know the supported application) and send it to 50789. You will receive a message with a WAP link in response.
Clicking this link will start to download the application. Follow the prompts to complete installation. After downloading and installing, go to the main phone menu to open the application. |

How to Register? |
When on the main application page, scroll to Register and hit the Fire key or press Options and select the same.
On doing so, the application will ask for an Email address. Feed in the valid data and then follow the instructions thereafter.
Once registered, the system will send a message informing you about your Id and password. These will be sent to the specified
E-mail ID and another as an SMS to your mobile no. You can now use this information to log in.
Type UNSUB SSECURE and send to 50789 to unsubscribe SPICE Secure service.

Symbian Phone: This application lets you back up your contacts, SMS, photos, videos, tones, wallpapers etc.. The client runs in the background, allowing the user to use his phone normally. Phonebook can be restored to any (non empty) device without duplication. The default settings for backup are specified at the time of installation. A user can choose to enable/disable the prompt that asks for a description of the photo/video prior to backup.
Java Phone: The client here has to be manually turned on when you want to backup. You can back up your contacts, photos, videos, tones and wallpapers. You can backup your messages, for clients through the phonebook backup application. A user can upload while on roaming. Can suspend upload while roaming (if already enabled then the upload will resume itself when the user comes back into his/her home network.
SMS Service: If you want to backup up an SMS , send SMSB <message> to 50789. It backs up your SMS by forwarding the same to 50789. The messages can be deleted. The deletion is permanent and the messages are not moved to the Recycle Bin. Messages can be grouped in folders - Inbox, Sent Items. The messages can be deleted.
